Maintenance and Repair
Matters Needing Attention:
1. If the engine needs to be returned to factory for maintenance and repair, please send back the oil pump together with the engine.
2. If there is any fault in the engine, please contact the manufacturer. Do not disassemble the engine, oil pump or GSU without authorization, otherwise maintenance and repair services are not allowed, you will have to bear the cost yourself.
3. The top repair service is limited to damage of aircraft model and not available for damage by other uses.
Maintenance
The engine operation data will be automatically stored in the storage inside engine. After the engine runs for 25 hours, it needs to be returned to us for maintenance.
The main contents include: replacement of bearings, inspection of parts, removal of carbon deposits, cleaning of oil circuit, re-doing the dynamic balance, data reset after commissioning and adjustment for new product status restoration.
Repair
Once the engine is damaged, it should be sent back to us for repair. Do not disassemble the engine without authorization!
Just keep it blown up and send it back. If the repair cost is higher than the price of a new engine due to serious damage, you decide to enjoy the repair service or not by yourself. However, it must be ensured that no disassembles on the engine .
Kindly Reminders:
1. If the oil pump is stuck due to impurities inhaled, please send it back for maintenance or contact the us to indication your disassemble and remove the impurities .
2. When installing a new engine, the oil tank and oil pipe must be carefully cleaned, and the oil outlet of the refueling pump must be equipped with an oil filter. When uninstalling the engine, oil pump or oil inlet system, the oil inlet and outlet must be closed and blocked with a small section of oil pipe to prevent impurities from entering. Even very small impurities entering the engine or oil pump may cause oil circuit blockage and unexplained flame-out.
3. Main key reasons affecting engine life: unclean fuel, illegal operations and excessive temperature due to extreme use, heavy fall, shutdown by power-off, and manual heat dissipation.
4. After the engine is shut down, the power shall be cut off after the heat dissipation is completed. Shutdown by power-off or the heat dissipation is insufficient after the engine is shut down, the service life of the bearings will be directly affected.
5. Before starting, carefully check whether there are other foreign matters in front of the engine air inlet. Once the engine inhales foreign matters or foreign matters fall into the air inlet, it will lead to blade damage or even vane wheel explosion. If the blade is damaged, it should be returned to the factory for cleaning, maintenance and dynamic balance, otherwise it will affect the service life of the engine.
6. The oil filter and other equipment shall be regularly inspected for normal function.
7. Check whether all connectors are correct before power on. If the power supply is connected reversely, the circuit board will be burned.
